staying home

Here, still.

Remember this post?

I don’t know what happened because June flew by and I only wrote two blog posts the entire month. (At the beginning of Covid, I was churning out at least one post per week).

What happened?

I’m not sure. I felt like I didn’t have anything (important) to say.

I’ve gotten to the point where I almost forget what I would have been doing if “things were normal.” Well, now that I’ve gotten myself thinking about it … I would be in The Netherlands for a friend’s wedding right now.

But, there’s no sense in dwelling on canceled trips.

Or, dig myself into a dark hole of “What Ifs” if the November election doesn’t turn out the way I want it to.

A friend asked me the other day if I have taken any time off from work during the pandemic. (I have not).

“I don’t know what I would do though!” I replied back to her.

“Just relax,” she said.
