“What are you listening to?” my coworker asked me.
“Christmas music,” I replied.
I’m in this state where I am trying to fully embrace the holiday season, yet I am not exactly ready for it to be here.
I had a mental list of fun things I wanted to do this fall. (You know, like go see the larches on a hike in the North Cascades. Or, learn how to bake a pie other than apple).
I guess those things can wait until next year.
Now I have to make sure I keep up-to-date with my Advent calendar. I need to start making my Christmas cards. I also need to write my family’s Christmas letter! (My parents asked me two weeks ago if I had started … I’m surprised they haven’t mentioned it recently ….)
I also have international travels approaching at the end of the month so I need to prepare for that.
